How to unmirror the drive on Compaq DL360 with Smart Integrated Array Controller

I have 2 identical servers Compaq DL360  with Smart Integrated Array Controller. Each one has 1 disk and one
more slot. I configured one and wanted to copy the entire HD to the second server. So I put the disk into the second slot and mirrored it using the Array Configuration Utility. Now how can I break the mirror so the data will be identical but the disk will be independent so I could put it into the second server ?

You can always just remove it.  The RAIDed information is stored in the controller's CMOS since this is a hardware RAID.  Put the second drive in the other computer as the primary drive and you should be all set.

If this server is used for business, I recommend getting two more drives so you can have the mirror RAID full time.

Doesn't work. During boot the second computer
shows message something like "The position of the drive changed. Please power off and return it to the original position"  If I ignore this the OS wouldn't start.

1. Run the Disk Administrator.
2. From the Disk Administrator, click that fragment of the mirrored set.
3. Choose Fault Tolerance, Break Mirror Set from menu.
The set should be broken. T
I haven't tested this, but what if you ran a system erase on the second computer, before putting in the disk? The message "the position of the drive changed" indicates that there was a previous configuration
