ISA Server Questions
Hi ,
Im in the planning stage of our ISA server and wondered if anyone could
help me out. If been on ISASERVER.org and have seen/heard some of Tom
Shinders excellent webcasts with searchwin2000.com.
Just so I have it right can someone answer me:
I have a web server currently outside our current firewall. I want to bring
the webserver behind the new Firewall (ISA:-) , and use web publishing.we
'll call the site www.abc.com and ip 1.2.3.4
Can i
a) use the Ip address frm the web server (published on the Net) for the ISA
Server
b) can i redirect http requests to the www.abc.com address whcih prevoisuly
belonged to the web server now hitting ISA back to the web server so the
change is seamless to web users?
c) I have a second web server but i want to use www.abc.com/server2 and
redirect to the 2nd web server with ISA?
Also can i use the same ip for Terminal Servcies , Exchange RPC Publishing
and send that to different servers behind ISA.
Summary
www.abc.com -------------------------- ---------- ---------- --- web server1
www.abc.com/server2 -------------------------- ---------- ---------- --- web
server2
www.abc.com (Terminal Services
Client) -------------------------- ---------- ---------- --- TS Server
www.abc.com (Exchange RPC Server
Publishing) -------------------------- ---------- ---------- ---Exchang e Server
Any help would be great! 50 points to start with , im not sure if im in the correct area...
Thanks in advance
Steve

If you are using the TSAC web client then and article in the tutorials on ISAserver.org says it only works if the website and the terminalserver are the same box.
