00 error code on epox 8kha+
My 8kha mobo wont boot, the speaker does a constant beeping sound, and the onboard LEDs read 00. There is no error code listed in the manual referring to 00, so I was wondering what this might mean. Thanks.
Hmm...Try reseating the CPU, Memory and video cards? and take out all unnecessary cards/drives and peripherals that are not necessary for the machine to boot. So you should only really need the CPU, Memory, video card and motherboard of course...
It is an Epox Motherboard....the Epox motherboards have a Two digit LED display. And as evirds says it is displaying 00.
sorry for commenting again, in case you did not understand, the 00 number is on the motherboard itself. Not something that is displayed on the monitor etc.
One of the problems is that few BIOS makers (except for the IBM PC, XT and AT) make their full post code tables available. 00 or FF are usually the last ones to be displayed so there might not be anything wrong... from the BIOS point of few. Contact your BIOS maker for a full list of the post codes and beep codes.

Thought it was going to be a split? Guess not...
Or Evirds, what fixed or solved your problem?

What bios does it have installed?
A 00 code on a AMI Bios Ver. 2.2X means "Flag Test (The CPU is being tested"
For a general COMPAQ bios it means "Initialize and test CPU Flags"
For an IBM XT it means "CPU register test fail"
What is beep code you are hearing (expressed as a series of long and short beeps). 5 short beeps means a CPU failure... etc...
