I tried creating a new user and when I was rebooting the box it said something about my shadow passwords not updated or something like that (sorry, don't remember what it said exactly).  When the box started back I was unable to log in using any of the user accounts.  It doesn't allow me to log in using any of them. It appears as if something got changed and none of the accounts/passwords are recognized.  So, I then was going to boot up and enter single user mode using linux -s but I'm using grub instead of lilo.  Can this be accomplished with Grub so that I can change my root password?   I'm using RH 7.3 by the way.  Thanks.
