Go to HP website to see if your system componets are compatible with w2k....but then again you would be told this in the setup..hmmm..it i would check the video card ..if you can test another one in your system as the crazy one says you will have to disable one component at a time until you find the problem..but i would start wid the video..disable it in safe mode and restart the system and boot it in normal mode..of it comes up thatis your prob right there...but let us know more about the specs of the system..

I have a HP P3 running at 533 and when i was installing win 2000 pro in freezes during the startup screen (with the bar moving accross the bottom) and when it get ready to get into win2000 the WIN2000 Logo become blurry and freezes (left it alone for over 3hours :-p)But in safemode it works fine, I even did a clean install<br />
