Sharing scanner !!!
It would like to know if it's possible to share a scanner like we share printers on a Windows 2000 network. If yes, what should I do?

To access this solution, you must be a member of Experts Exchange.
If you can get the scanner to work on Linux with SANE (http://www.mostang.com/sane/) You can then install the scanner driver in Windows 2000 to access the networked scanner. Other than that the only choice I'm aware of is the one that MrWhipster commented, but a network ready scanner tends to be quite expensive

I would suggest that you start closing and grading some of these questions. i have already talked to the admins to make sure you close them.
