Wingate or Win 2K ICS?

I would like to share an internet connection on the LAN. I have the choice between Wingate and Windows 2000 Internet Connection Sharing. Which one is the best regarding the connection speed. I know that using ICS the speed decrease, is it the same with Wingate?

What makes you say ICS causes the connection speed to decrease? I've never experienced any such thing while using it.

And if you're in a corporate environment and have many users (as MrWhipster has  mentioned), you might want to go to NAT on Windows 2000. (Network Address Translation) Of course you need Windows 2000 Server products for that, but if you're in a corporate environment, you prob already have a server running. NAT is also free, with more configurability.

ICS cannot be used on networks with DHCP and DNS servers. When you enable ICS, that computer becomes the network's DHCP and DNS server. It also changes the IP address to 192.168.0.1. There's no interface to configure ICS. It's good for home users and getting the Internet up and runinng on a small network, but it's not for professionals.

I tried to set the ICS but it is not working.
I would like to know if it is because of the Windows 2000 Server network. The ICS computer and the client are running windows 2000 Prof and are connected to a Windows 2000 Server could it be the problem?
