Hello all,

I have a directory structure like so:
dir 'a' at the top level

in a, we have dirs b, c, d, and e

dir b just has some sql scripts, no java code.

dirs c & d  each have a subdir called fred, and then inside fred another subdir called c1 or d1, depending if it's dir c or d above.  In c1 there is c1.java, c2.java & c1.txt, and dir d1 has d1.java, d2.java, and d1.txt.

dir e is empty

The points are for build.xml scripts which go in dir a, c1, and d1 and allow this:
I want to be able to run ant in c1 or d1 individually, and have it build whatever .java files it finds in there, and make a .jar out of them, and put the jar file in dir e.
I also want to be able to run ant at the top level dir, a, and have it look down thru all the dirs and make the separate jar files which go in dir e.

If this question is ridiculously hard, just let me know and I'll delete it - I'm out of my depth here.

Thanks
