Package and Deployment Wizard
I used the PDW for my VB6 app. It created 3 files: setup.exe, a cab file and a LST file.
I uploaded these files to the web.
Is it possible for an internet user to run the setup and have the app installed WITHOUT downloading the cab and list files?

If you insist in using PDW, then package the setup as a web install... it will create a .cab file for you along with a .inf file and an .htm file. You can use the code in the .htm file to put into your own web page to have the application install on the users computer. It called "Delpoy" in PDW.. Choose Web Publishing...

Good ANSWERS. I just bought Installshield Express 3.54.
Are you familiar with it. Can I do it with ISE 3.54?

Prof, I am not familiar with ISE 3.54. I have only used IS 7.0 and I've never used the web packaging options. I know they are possible because I always see other peoples packages, and of course IS advertises on every package.
