Transfering files from pc to pc ?
hi ,
i have and old laptop and the screen is broken .
i was wondering how can i transfer the files from my laptop to my new pc . thank you for your help .

Or if you have remote access to your laptop via network, you can use tools, if installed, such ftp, scp ....
What OS is it? if it is Linux or UNIX and you configured the console port to operate on it, you can still use it with an external console. Or access the system remotely while it is up and running regardless of the screen.
If is is windows, and it sounds like it is:
1) put it in another laptop if possible and share the entire drive everyone full control. You can then access them remotely if you need to give back the laptop. Or copy the files off to network storage, etc.
2) get the adapter mentioned ealier and use another regular PC to recover the files.
