I use VB as front end and MS Access as back end. I want to crunch (Zip) the database file as much as possible so that it fits on a floppy. At the moment, in my code, I first compact the database file, and then with the help of "Shell" command, I run "PKZip" to crunch the database file. I am not happy with this method of crunching. Also, I have noticed in some computers (specially Windows XP) where the folder name exceeds 8.3 format, the code does not perform well. Is there any better way to crunch the database file.

Your prompt help will be highly appreciated.
