Introduction to object-oriented programming
I've written dozens of programs in Turbo Pascal 5.0 over many years, and could probably do it in my sleep. But it appears that if I'm ever going to write anything that can be run in Windows, I need to learn object oriented programming. I tried to use Delphi recently but floundered. I bought the book Delphi in a Nutshell but it was no use (it says in it that a basic knowledge of object-oriented programming is needed).
