Nested Continuous Forms

I am trying to create a form (frmPricingTabs) which has a tab control that contains a continuous subform (frmPricingTabsSub) on each tab.  In the detail of the subform, I would like to have a combo to select a certain employee, along with another continuous subform (frmPricingTabsSubDetail) which will contain multiple pricing records for the selected employee.  In other words, for each tab, I want to be able to build groups of pricing records for multiple employees.  When I try to nest continuous subforms, Access 2000 tells me that I "can't view a form as a continuous form is it contains a subform".  Any ideas how I might be able to get around this while still displaying the data with nested grouping?

If you don't want to use coding, you could use the oldest trick in the book.

Place a text control on your main form. Assign it the value of the primary key of your first subform. (use the builder = magicians stick)
Use this text control as "link master" for your second subform.

I compare continuous subforms always as two little open boxes side by side in a big box. A person inside one little box (subform) cannot look over the boundaries of that box to see the content of his neighbour, but he is able to see the the walls and ceiling of the big box (main form) and if there's a mirror (text control) on the wall or ceiling, than the content of the other small box (other subform) can be seen.
