Error Message 3252

Why do I get this error when trying to run a query on an mdb that has no forms?

'Can't open a form whose underlying query contains a user-defined function that attempts to set or get the form's RecordsetClone property. (Error 3252)'

Thanks,

Try running compact and repair and see if that doesn't resolve it.

Compact/Repair doesn't resolve the problem.
What version of Access?  OS are you using?  IE?

The following error messages indicate an improper DAO installation:

"Cannot open database..."
"Access violation at address 00000000..."
"Can't open a form whose underlying query contains a user-defined function..."
"The Jet VBA file failed to initialize when called..."
In addition to the error messages shown above, you may encounter other error messages as a result of an incorrectly installed DAO. We recommend you do a manual uninstall and re-install of the DAO to ensure it is correctly installed on your computer.

I'm using MS Access 97, windows nt.
I'm not getting any errors like you describe, just the error I described in the question.
Actually your error is the third error listed.

Please see the following MS article for repair:

No comment has been added lately, so it's time to clean up this TA.
I will leave a recommendation in the Cleanup topic area that this question is:
 - PAQ'd and pts removed
