Crystal report Run-time Error 20000. No error.

I am trying to run a crystal report from VB and I am getting the above error.
Can anyone tell me why ?

Does the report run from Crystal?

Look at the following from CR. They are against CRver7 but probably apply to later versions.

Actually I've worked out what happened.
I had set the Crystal.Connect with parameters for a server name, database, password etc.. but the report I was wanting to show is just a text report which does not use a database. Therefore when I removed the reference to the connection my problem disappeared.
