We developed a web application with ASP pages and COM+ Components (Developed in Visual Basic & Visual C++) towards IIS5 & Windows 2000 Server. The Components are deployed in COM+ Application Server, which will enable the components to execute in DLLHOST.EXE process space.

During some occasions the memory consumption in the system shows complete (100% usage) even though there is no proportionate increase in the memory foot print of DLLHOST.EXE. Because of this no component is getting executed in the COM+ application and all future requests are being rejected (which are normally generated from ASP Pages). On some occasions it even leads to “Low Virtual Memory” dialog box to appear on the server.

When the DLLHOST.EXE process is terminated, the system regains the complete memory and system starts functioning normally.

Can any one suggest the solution/clue?

Thanks in advance.
