Just finished building my first PC, installed XP, it's running great, no problems there.  However, when I try to restart the computer it simply shuts down.  Then, when I try to power it up again, it starts for about three to five seconds and shuts off.  If I keep doing this it will eventually start up and run great.  My guess is I may be able to address this in the bios....only problem is, my motherboard's bios has been replaced with another after the XP installation.  I want my old bios back!!  Would appreciate a hand here.  Thanks.

FYI, it's an Abit IT7 Max2 motherboard running a P4 2.53/533 & 512MB RAM.
