Hi,
Where can I find information or books on setting up Apache on Suse Linux. I never used Apache before. I have a Lan with a DC running win 2000 Server and Win98 clients.

He is using SuSE, so there is no need to a install HOWTO. I think delcom5 wants a configuration HOWTO for setting up his box correctly.

First you have to select the apache using YaST2; apache installs with an default configuration. The main configuration file is /etc/httpd/httpd.conf.
To setup the server, you need the docs. Open your webbrowser (e.g. Netscape) and go to http://localhost/ - There should open a local start page with an link to the local apache documentation (http://localhost/manual/).

The manual can also be found here: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/ or for Apache 2.0 here: http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/

Read your httpd.conf file and if there are questions, look at the docs...
