Setting up out of office reply at server
hi,
i'm using exchange server 5.5. anyone knows how to set up the out of office auto reply at the server?

Sure, I assume your an administrator... Log on with your users ID and run Outlook and create the rule.

if i create the email account on the server, then the mails will be downloaded. i do not want download any mails onto the server. is there any way to get around this? if i'm using outlook express, will it be the same as outlook?

If you set up outlook with exchange, unless you use a PST file (Personal File Folder) nothing is getting downloaded... You can have as many different Outlook's opened on as many machines as you want and still see the mail.
Just set up a profile for this person, do the rule and close it.

sorry, didn't really know how to do it still.
if i don't use a pst file, how can i set up the email account?
