SSH/Telnet server session time control

Hi there,
Is there any way to  control the time a remote user is logged on ssh/telnet server? script?

use a shell which support autologout variable, like:
  bash, ksh, tcsh

So, that means it's posible and I am not so lost on this. I have no idea of this, but I'm going to try with RedHat 7.1
