I have to start out by saying that I don't like ARCserve and I don't have a lot of experienc with it.  I have a client running ARCserve 2000 Version 7.0 running on a Windows 2000 PDC.  I configured this system over 1.5 years ago and the backup has been working great until now.  The backup starts okay, and runs for a little bit, then fails.  Here is the job log.

Did you change the administrator password recently?

No, not recently.  Also, all of the services are set to login as system.

>>services are set to login as system.

That is AT ODDS with what this logfile says.

I think you need to investigate WHY it is attempting to logon as administrator when YOU think it should be logging on as SYSTEM.
