I have networked 2 computers together. Computer A is the parent and computer B the child.

Computer B is accessing files from Computer A fine. Computer A can see Computer B but cannot access any files from Computer B.

Computer B has all sharing turned on.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Do you have any directories shared on Computer B?  If there are no directories you won't see anything.

You have sharing turned on, but have you clicked on the second computer's hard drive and given it a "Shared as" letter?

Yep sharing is turned on and the shared names/letters have been given.
make sure the networking components in both are identical,
Both should have netbuie, tcp/ip, client for .... , etc...

Wonderful thanks stretchsp. My problem is now solved. Computer B did not have Netbui or spx/ipx installed.

Thank you.
