I installed VB 6.0 on xp professional. Then I applied visual basic service pack 5. But now, when I try to package an application with Package and Deployment Wizard, it gives 2147024882: out of memory error. It doesn't give this error, when I start it out of VB.

whatever you do! do NOT blame it on XP PRO. LoL.  Try reinstalling your vb 6.0 application from your purchased cdrom's ;)

still doesnt answer the question, lol but anyways, how much memory do you have? If you have kazaa running, UNLOAD IT and try again. In my experience, i've got 4gb ram, 4x80gb scsi hd's in raid0+1 and i would get some funky errors and lockups while downloading with kazaa. cpu usage was peaking at 100 from kazaa!

I have 128 MB memory. I have to say that, I had been working with VB for a long time. Then one week ago, when I tried to open VB,it couldn't opened and in task bar I saw the ""Program is not responding". I uninstalled VB,closed and opened machine. Then started installation. But at first I took "There is a confliction.......Do you want to continue installation" message. I continued and installed VB. I think it is registry problem. Do you?
