Access Database with PASSWORD. Please !!!
Dear experts,
the question is simple:
How to open a LOCAL MS-Access database with password, using a VB-Program ?
I alread tried :
1 - Use the property Report.Database.LogOnServe r(dllName, ServerName, DatabaseName, userID,Password ), but I didn´t get success. The MS-Access database that I using is LOCAL and this property never find dllName ( In case,I don´t know the correct name to use, nether the others names )
2 - I tried to use the program sugested by mlmcc (
http://support.crystaldecisions.com/communityCS/FilesAndUpdates/scr_vb_api_security.exe.asp ).
Although too complicated / complex, it works well with reports without subreports. I didn´t get anyway to open a report with subreport ( both accessing a local MS-Access with password ) using this sugested program.
I´m a little desperate because a must run this program this week.
There is something easy to solve this ? I really have to use de second option ?
Thank very much
