vb doubt

I am using a Rich text box control.If i am entering some information whatever word having then iam saving it as a .txt file.so if i am seeing this txt file unnecessarily some informations are displayed.How can i avoid it

Try use Replace function to replace the text content you dont want to display.

Hello sravishankars !

RichText contains extra formatting info. Perhaps you used RichTextBox1.TextRTF when writing to the file instead of RichTextBox1.Text.

Do you really need a rtf box? Why not simply use textbox?
