Hi Unix Gurus,

I'm using mailx I'm receiving the following error after executing the following commands

mailx -v gportugal@softtek.com
Subject: "test1"
test1
.

softtek.com: Nameserver timeout
gportugal@softtek.com... Transient parse error -- message queued for future delivery

With mailq command I can see all mails enqueued....

Now, When I execute

mailx -v user_user@hotmail.com I saw next message

user_user@hotmail.com...Connecting to myserver.org.mx via relay
220 myserver.org.mx  ESMTP Sendmail 8.11.6+Sun/8.11.6

But I don't received that e-mail...

Can you help me please ???

Thanks

You should have got an email with the line:
REMOTE-MTA:DNS:   xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You have cut pretty much in the output but in
tthe first case it could be a misconfigured DNS.
Has this ever worked or has this popped up as result of
reconfiguration ?

In the second case your system is transmitting to the MTA
which relays the mail to the mailexchanger, mailrelay or whatever you want to call it.
I guess your mail is sitting in the mailqueue on that system.

Is your DNS working otherwise ? Webbrowser or
ping www.playboy.com ??
