Here is a quote I gat from an Apache administration handbook which was published in March 2002. I cannot find out if PHP is supported or not. Can anyone tell me.

"At the time of this writing PHP 4 on Apache 2.0 is completely unsupported on the Windows platform. Please visit http://www.php.net to download the Windows version when it is released."

Thanks

PHP 4 on Apache 2.0 works. Only thing is that the sapi module is still experimental. You can run php as a CGI binary.

I am running this. If you want how to configure this please let me know

Why are you using Apache 2.0 if you want to use PHP? Why not use the older version (1.x)

PHP works fine on that one
I can help you

I have the same config as you, and i have successfully got them to work! here's how:

============================================================
if you use Virtual Hosts

<VirtualHost 127.0.0.1>
   ServerName "Srirangan Srinivasan"
   DocumentRoot "E:/site/current/srirangan/home"
   ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "E:/site/current/srirangan/home/cgi-bin/"
   ScriptAlias /php/ "e:/php-4.2.1-Win32/"
   AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
   Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"
   ErrorLog logs/error.log
</VirtualHost>

==============================================================
if you dont use vhosts you just need to add these lines...

   ScriptAlias /php/ "e:/php-4.2.1-Win32/"#where php is installed
   AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
   Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"
