What situation we need the Apache proxy function?

   If all my pages is dymanic page(jsp,asp),dose I need the function of proxy?
     
    If I used the function of proxy,would apache send me the old data when I do a second request?

You only need a proxy when you are forwarding a request to another server.

Apache can buffer on proxy, but so can nearly everybody else. It is always better to specify if you want it cached. Normally the proxy cache is not on, so no it won't.
