Is Tomcat the best Java servlet engine for Apache (that is available for a poor guy like myself)? It seems a bit messy regarding configuration and error messages...

BTW, I use Linux of course...

"Atta boy"...???

I use Linux because I've had to put up with Micro$oft's crap at work for too many years. Linux works! ("Microsoft Works" is an oxymoron!)

Thanks for answering, btw.
lol I hear ya, Unfourtantly there are still some  stuff that requires MS Windows to use properly, or for gaming. On the brighter I've noticed more games and software coming out for Linux, which is exciting me.  "Atta Boy" is politically inncorrect too :) should be "Atta Person"
Learn SQL Server Core 2016

This course will introduce you to SQL Server Core 2016, as well as teach you about SSMS, data tools, installation, server configuration, using Management Studio, and writing and executing queries.

As for the Tomcat servlet, I would reccommend it cause well, It's made by the APache organization,The Jakarta Project. And best of all the price is right.. Free! And there are alot of add-ons as well at the Apache site:

http://jakarta.apache.org

Good Luck

Yeah, seems you're right. Let's just wait a bit though, and see if someone else has something to say.

Is it politically incorrect to say "boy"??? - Well, I've never had much respect for politics, and it's not getting any better.
Lol, well Boy can be taken a few different ways. But I am not  one for politics either.

Enjoy

I suppose this is an extension of the don't-call-negroes-negroes war. Why not? They are negroes, aren't they? Just like indians are indians and escimoes are escimoes... Well, I guess there are lots of things I don't understand in this world. :-(

Ehh... Did this get off topic, or what?
lol yeah it did but ohh well  ;-) Thats a subject I dont get involved in, but I feel that if a black man does not want to be called a negro than Im am fine with that. same goes with American Natives, if they do not want to be called Indians then I think it is there right. Depending on where a black person comes from if he/she is from Africa then they are Africans, if they are from America then there Americans in my opinion. But thats the way I see. and yeah  lol this is off subject..

Ohh well. Take care man, hope Tomcat does it's best for ya :) It will.

This can be discussed for ages. It did get out of hand, and I just have to point out that I am no racist. - Why do I have to do that, nowadays? What the f... is happening? Am I getting old or something? Anyway, I suggest we just drop it. I'am having a really hard time keeping my fingers still...
LOL I hear ya bud.
>Yeah, seems you're right. Let's just wait a bit though, and >see if someone else has something to say.

Yeah, ok! - Since I got that "Atta boy" award... ;-) Nobody else seems interested in answering. Maybe there are no alternatives to Tomcat...?
LOL thanks for the points.

None that I am aware of for free. Tomcat just works so good that there just doesnt seem to be any other way to go (For free)
