Are there any size limitations for the database file for MS Access? e.g. What are the limitations for a database file, a table, a field, etc. Thanks.

For Access 2000 and 2002:

Each access database file can be up to two gigabytes and may contain up to 32,768 objects (tables, queries, etc.)

The size limitation for a field vary with the field type in question:

Number 1 to 15 digits
Date/Time 8 Bytes
Currency Accurate to 15 digits on the left side side of the decimal and 4 on the right.

OLE objects 1 Gigabyte maximum
Hyperlink up to 64,000 characters (for all three parts of link)

Hope that helps,
Marc
