I just read the question from:
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Programming_Languages/MFC/Q_20403408.html
and it made me take a look at my own Project | Settings | General Tab.  I have the same situation as the other thread's poster mentioned.  I have VC6SE on the PC I'm currently finishing up code on for a release version of an app.  I have the pro version on the PC I usually use but I crashed the PC earlier and in the process of reformatting the HD.  I still wont have the time to get that PC fully running before I'm expected to deliver this release (I've only a few hours left and the downloads (like PSDK) plus the software installs - while I'm also trying to code on the other PC are going to keep me from meeting my deadline.  Its not that a big a deal to be a few hours late but does anyone where in the VC6SE the option to select "Use MFC in a static library"?

dont have that option the SE version.  Only in the Architect(Enterprise edition)... best I figure is to hack a little to get it to work.  Anyone know just what needs to be done?  I have both editions but they aren't on the same machine and licensing (which I've actually started paying attention to since I've started earning my living coding) prevent me from having it on two machines (the enterprise version I mean).

excuse the delay in accepting your answer...  didn't even know the question was still open until today.
