Location of another document
In Javscript and VBScript you aren't allowed to access a document's location if it is on another server. Is there anyway that I can get the other document's location, maybe using the history or a server side program.
If u r thinking of retrieving a documents location on another server, it is not possible without extreme hacking. U can get the location of the document what is normally available by browsing.
You cannot access anything within a page from a different domain using scripting.

Are you positive? It seems too protective.
COBOL is right, and I don't think it is too protective.
All the author of a site would have to do would be to launch a popunder and then they would be able to track every single site the user visits in the window that spawned it!
I wouldn't be surprised if that would also let the site author read sensitive information entered in to forms on other sites - such as credit card data.

I guess your right, I didn't think about it that way, but I have now found away around needing the location.
