I put together, scavenging parts, a 188mh pentium with 128mb ram.
The only full edition of windows I could get to in my office was xp professional.
The computer now starts and everything works. But after it copyes all the files to setup windows, at the first restart. It says NTLDR: Fatal Error 1 reading BOOT.INI.
Then you press any key, and it loops back to the boot up. I have tryed formating the hard drive NTFS and FAT 32, both the same error. What am I doing wrong?

Jenease, you need to ask this as a new Question.  By putting a comment in my old question, the only people who will ever see it are me and possibly pjknibbs.

As far as your problem goes, my first thought is that if its a scavenged hard drive, you will have to make sure that the xp setup includes a complete format of the hard drive - there may be an old boot.ini from a previous NT setup on there...
