Excel 97 Custom toolbar

I can easily create a custom toolbar that I want to use only on one Excel97 workbook. I have a number of macros each assigned to its own custom button. The workbook will be located in a shared network folder.  I want anyone opening this to have the toolbar exist and docked. Is there a way to do so programmically, or do I need to use a user form?

You could add buttons when the workbook is opened (event "Workbook_Open") and then remove the buttons when it's closed again (event "Workbook_BeforeClose").

Just look in the VBA-Help for CommandBarControls, it comes along with a usable description and examples on how to do it.
