changing the scheduler default priority

By default the policy is set to SCHED_OTHER in sched.c

so when i run the test program it is selecting the default policy.......

I would like to set policy to SCHED_RR OR SCHED_FIFO

can u help me with it

Call setpriority() in your program. DON'T FORGET to run a command shell with higher priority first! If you don't do that, your program may lock your system!

As far as I remember, there's no application like nice() to set RR or FIFO priority, but it's quity easy to write one with setpriority() and exec(). If you have any more questions about it, ask them in Linx/Programming area. But if you want SHED_RR or SHED_FIFO to be default priority for all procesess belive me: you DON'T WANT that :-)
