Changing Size of Time Slice in Windows 2000

Does anyone know how to change the size of the time slice for windows 2000.  Desired 60 hertz for real-time application but windows' default quantum does not allow this!

Any idea?

This article is very nice, but I can't seem to find details on the Api used to boost the threads.

Thank you all for your comments.  Looks like I will have to look for 3rd party software to accomplish this.
I guess you'v tried to change priority to realtime?
Changing priority does not affect the length of the timeslice.
if you'r going to use the programm alex posted the link to it does.

Isn't the program from the link for NT4?  I need one for 2000 Professional!

Alexo, I apologize if I took too long to accept your answer.  I'm new to experts-exchange and still trying to figure out how everything works.
