Thanks zuwe.  I do that and it still wants to move on to the next record.  Is there another setting somewhere??

Thanks to uwe for helping me out.  However, the answer uwe gave me did not solve my problem.  I found the answer on Microsoft's site.  Here is the url:  http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnacc2k2/html/odc_FMSFormTips.asp

Here is how you do it:
  Me!MyText.SetFocus
  Me!MyText.SelStart = 0
  Me!MyText.SelLength = Len(Me!MyText)
  RunCommand acCmdSpelling

it works like a charm & is AWESOME.

It got me on the right track, however, what I was looking for was for the spellcheck to check that record only and not move to the next record.  I solved it by doing what I posted above.

Thanks Uwe for pointing me in the right direction!
