How to install Windows 98 with a SCSI CD-ROM drive?

I have an IBM 300PL with and Adaptec SCSI card, 128 MB RAM, 450MHz Pentium 2 processor. I have a SCSI CD-ROM drive and I was wondering how to install windows 98 from it? The SCSI BIOS finds both the SCSI HD and the SCSI CD-ROM drive without a problem. So configuring the SCSI drives isn't a problem.

The main problem is intalling windows. I'm not an expert with windows so this is all new to me. Can someone point me in the right direction.

I have a boot floppy the came with the Windows CD, and also another boot floppy that I have made.

I'll add that there is only a few files on the drive right now. (Command.com, FDISK, Edit.com, Config.sys, MSCDEX, etc.. but NO OS!!!)
Thanks!

Can you set your BIOS to boot to the SCSI CD-Rom?
If so then do that and with the Win98 CD in the drive, you should be able to run setup and install Win98 without using the bootdisk.

Is it an OEM disk, an retail upgrade disk?
as long as it is not a restore disk of some sort you should be OK, Win98 CD's are bootable.
