Preventing custom recipients from replicating to other sites

All,
Good afternoon.  I wanted to know if there was a way to block custom recipients from one exchange site, from appearing on another exchange site's GAL.  It's not mission-critical, it's just cluttering up the GAL with recipients that don't apply to that site.  Perhaps make custom recipients site-specific?  Just an idea.
If there is a way to do this, please include any potential adverse effects.  Thank you in advance.

The only thing I could think of is multiple ALs for the sites. As in, putting CRs in their own GAL for that particular site. Or make a GAL with all relevant users and custom recips for a particular site. then apply appropriate permissions. Seems kinda messy though.

Agreed.  Yes, the whole thing is messy.  As I said, it's no big urgency, I was just curious if it could be done.  Thanks for the reply.
No problem

Yea, that's true. I thought he was on E2K, not Ex 5.5
I wasn't sure either, but since he is saying "Custom recipients" and "sites" instead of "Contacts" and "Admin Groups"...i just assumed it was 5.5
I'm assuming this will work.  So don't get mad if I take the points back!  Just kidding.  Thanks a ton for your reply.  Hope you don't mind me contacting you if I need further help?  I would appreciate that.  Thank you again, have a happy holiday.
