Working on adding a recurring-schedule capability to an in-house VB 6 app. Anyone know of a control I can include that provides a "recurrence pattern" capability? Working on it from scratch. The date calculations are a bit of a brain-teaser. Wanting to save some time...

TIA,
Darrel

twalgrave,

Thanks for the tips, but these are not quite what I need. I didn't give enough info, so here's an update.

I need to calculate the date on which the last occurrence of a recurring event will take place based on options chosen by the user such as: Every month on the 3rd Tuesday; Or weekly on Mon, Wed, Fri for 3 weeks, etc.

I want a control that will accept these details as input and spit back the date of the last occurrence. If no such animal exist, I will have to continue working on my own. But I believe there must be one somewhere. I have yet to find it.

I spent quite a bit of time loking for one of these and wasn't able to find a pre-existing one.  Looks like you might have to do it yourself.

twalgrave,

Thanks again for aiding in the search. I likewise have not found one. Microsoft's little gem must be a closely guarded secret. I agree I will have to re-invent the wheel.
