httpd (pid 25404?) not running error on installation

hi,
   i am new to solaris and apache i recently installed apache on solaris 5.8. i used all default locations while installing. when i tried to start the server the process is immediatly getting kill and am not able to access the server and when i tried to stop it i am getting a error messege.  

# ./apachectl start
# ./apachectl stop
httpd (pid 25404?) not running

I tried installing apache again but i have the same problem.

my error_log file is at the end.

i have to meet a deadline and any help will be greatly appreciated.

Could you check that your httpd.conf for "User" and Group directive and make sure you had those user/group in your system password file.  And make sure that those user/group has sufficient rights in the apacheroot.

Thanks a lot changing the "Group #-1" to "Group nogroup" did the trick. Thanks again for your prompt answer.
