Not possible in DW -- it's not a graphics program. Possible in Fireworks, but NOT in one file. You'll need two -- one to do the animation, and one to do the mouseovers. YOu need to be very careful with sizes. Then you need to change the code the mouseover generates to replace the mouseover image with the animated graphic.

It's not a beginner's project. Not impossible, but it does require a good deal of planning, precise measurements, exporting on only certain slices, and knowing how the mouseover script works and which pieces are which.

And you want to work it with TEXT, which makes it even harder...because the script will need to be TOTALLY modified.

Save this for later, when you're more comfortable with the actual HTML code and understand javascript some.

easy to learn and will do the things you want.
You can embed the Flash files in a Dreamweaver page later..
or do the whole thing in Flash.

have 2 images....

1 animation...
1 single pic (the first frame of the anim is usually best)

insert a rollover image (see the toolbar) .. in the first image have your single pic and on mouseover lick it to your anim.

hey presto.

hope this helps
