VBA in Word2000 -- How do you set the insertion point for page break related to a word in a doc text

Using Word 2000, I am merging/combining a number of word documents into one document. In one section of the combined documents I want to insert a page break after a word or phrase. I have located the word/phrase where the page break is to occur. I can insert text at the point using i.e.  "Selection.InsertAfter "Text to mark pape break"  but when I use a insert break i.e.  "Selection.InsertBreak  Type:wdPageBreak"   the page break occurs at the beginning of the section, not at the spot where text would be inserted.
