If you are sure you want to rename it, I suggest that you boot your pc from a floopy. Insert a boot disk and then boot your pc from the boot disk. Then, go to the directory where the file is and rename the file. The command is &quot;ren Cfshellftprds.dll Cfshellftprds.old&quot; without the double quote.<br />

This is a shell extension (setup in the registry) so just deleting<br />
doesn't seem to be a great idea.<br />
You need to find out which application own's it and either <br />
get a fix from the vendor, or uninstall the app (should cleanup the registry). &nbsp;

I am having problems copying, pasting etc. I looked on tons of sites about it and it said that it has to do with allaire or something putting a Cfshellftprds.dll file on your computer. &nbsp;They said to rename it, or delete it, I tried to but it wont let me because its in use, I dont know what to do..please help
