Look into server's notes.ini and remove there the password.

Stop the server by stoping the services from OS.

After restart when this password is removed from notes.ini you are free again.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

I claim the points for this question.

If the asker had look in his Domino server's notes.ini he had found the password registration line.
Removing that line would remove the Domino console password.

For everyone interested is here the product documentation description about that console password usage:
http://www-12.lotus.com/ldd/doc/domino_notes/Rnext/help6_admin.nsf/855dc7fcfd5fec9a85256b870069c0ab/0c50e423038555d085256c1d003a31f0?OpenDocument

And here an example line from notes.ini produced by command: set secure password
SERVER_CONSOLE_PASSWORD=05C0FC2F 23F4DD1D 8BD7E6D7 AFEDAF97

Removing that line removes the console password.

If you did not found the line in your notes.ini, then you did not have the console password protection enabled.
If you had password protection enabled but did not find the line in notes.ini, then you have looked in the wrong notes.ini

My recommendation is the same what is recommended here:
http://www-12.lotus.com/ldd/doc/domino_notes/Rnext/help6_admin.nsf/855dc7fcfd5fec9a85256b870069c0ab/c91d4697bfa11f8585256c1d003a0c60?OpenDocument
