..how to broadcast message to all connected
user or to a specific user in solaris 8

Hi,

The easiest way is to use the "wall" command.
This sends a broadcast message to all connected users.
You can use wall to broadcast the contents of a file or it will broadcast whatever you type.
See the man pages for exact usage.....
