Dear experts,

Can I send a file to a computer by specifying the IP address of that computer?

yes you can!
specify
\\[servername or ipAddress]\sharename\pathname

also you need priviledges if it is an NT based system.

The line should look something like this
Example:
\\127.0.0.1\c$\PROGRA~1\INTERN~1\readme.txt

explanation.
\\Ip\ShareName\FilePath\FileName

note: IP 127.0.0.1 is your system ip. you should change this
with the ip of the computer you wish to establish a connection.

But I 've used a computer to be a server, and the others be the clients. I connect them using socket, can I only send a file to one computer using Visual Basic?
