Hello,

Problem: Embedded View gets truncated when previewed in lotus client.

I have a form 'Form1' on which i have embedded a view 'View1' in which the first column is categorized.

Based on a selection criteria (Using a field of type 'dialogList') i can select a particluar view to be displayed on the form.

The problem is if the view's rows are more (may be 50 rows) the rows get truncated in the Form1. In the embedded view elements property i have mentioned the Size as Width-'Fit to Window' and Height-'10.000"' (note: i tried to increase the height value but no use also tried Height-'Fit to Window' but in vain)

I am literally stuck here and cannot proceed furthur.

Any suggestions or alternative?

Help in this regard will be apprciated.

Note: I tried to change the enbedded view display setting to all permutation and also the printer's page settings...but no luck...any solution)

Thanks in advance.

What is the version of Notes ?

There was some problems related to embedded view upto some release (don't remember). But I have 5.0.10 which works fine.

Try creating the embedded view inside a 1X1 table, with fit to window checked.

Its the same problem, i created a 1X1 table with 'Fit to Window' checked then to the form, embedded the view and checked the 'Fit to window' option for embedded view, but still when i preview it from notes client (5.0.11) i see only 10 to 12 rows ( where as there are 80 rows)?

U said that it worked for u. did ur embedded view have 100 rows(records) and in the lotus client were u able to preview all the rows? & did it print all the rows for u when u took the printout?

If you set height to fit to content, then it will not print/previewed properly. You have to manually set the height of the row. There is some problem in R5 which is supposed to be fixed in R6.
