linksys router log to pc

I set my linksys router to "Send Log to:    192.168.1.100"

The only option i have to log to another device. - with no additional configuration options.

The questian is how can i configure my xp pro machine to accept these logs?

or, how can i specify an avalable network location to save the logs too?

Probably you need to d'load a 'syslog' from the net and install on your winbox. I like Kiwi syslog.

Hi there,

The linksys program to monitor the logs is good but there are other ones that give you more detail like whois, ip to domain name, attach alert, etc.

-  Linklogger
-  wallwatcher http://www.wallwatcher.com/
-  sawmill http://www.sawmill.net/formats/LinkSys_Router.html
-  logviewer http://home.debitel.net/user/svenschaef/logview/
