Is the Asus A7M266-D and Oxygen GVX420 Compatible ?

I have installed 2 Different Video Cards of the Same Model (Oxygen GVX420) Into the System. Both Give me a Video Card Beep Error From BIOS (1 Long Beep 3 Short Beeps). I have Successfully Used a Different Model Video Card With No Problems. Can These 2 Divices Work Together??

Asus A7M266-D Has a AGP Pro Slot Next To a PCI 66Mhz Slot.
Oxygen GVX420 Video Card Has 2 Connectors, AGP and PCI.

Please Help? Thank-You in Advance.

P.S. If Not Compatible, Can you Recommend a Good Workstation Video Card $300-$400 That is comparable to Oxygen GVX420?

Have you tried updating the BIOS on the A7M266-D:

http://www.asus.com.tw/support/download/selectftp.aspx?l1_id=1&l2_id=10&l3_id=14&m_id=1&f_name=1009a7md.zip

If that doesn't help...I suspect they are simply incompatible.  What wattage PSU are you using?

I saw on 3dLab's forums that one recommendation was to Enable VGA Palette Snoop in BIOS if available (obviously with another video card installed!)

Well, not sure exactly what you're doing, but I'm guessing CAD or other 3D modelling...check out this "report card" from www.cadonline.com:
http://www.cadonline.com/reviews/hardware/0201gcards/report.htm

Looks like the FireGL2 (now an ATI product) or one of the other ATI FireGL products, or the Elsa GLoria III would be good choices, or one of the Nvida Quadro based cards (there are quite a few)...

The Asus A7M266-D only supports a AGP 1.5v Graphics Card.
The Oxygen GVX420 is a 3.3v Graphics Card, and will not Post with Said Motherboard.

Thanks All.

Did you take a look at some of the cards I linked to in that DVDirect.com link above?
